Miruvor welcomes submissions of any style and length. Essays, fiction, poems, art, recipes – anything with some connection to Tolkien, his works, or the activities of the Oxford Tolkien Society. (Creative endeavours with minimal direct connection to Tolkien can also be considered from Society members).

The new web-based format means that in addition to art and text, we will also be able publish online submissions which are not compatible with a traditional magazine format – interactive fiction, videos, music etc. The world is your oyster.

Those submissions for which it is practicable may be collected and reproduced in print or PDF issues of the magazine, which will appear as and when the volume of submissions allows.

If you would prefer your work not to be made public to the entire internet, posts can be made visible only to the society, using a password which will be distributed on the Taruithorn mailing list.

Any submissions and questions can be sent to the editor (Rebecca McQuone) at
